7. .UK Domain Name Specific Information

7.1 Domain Name Registrations

Each domain name registration with FIDEL TECH LTD is for a one-year initial term. However, domain names may be registered for a term of up to ten years, as set forth on our website. Renewal notices for domain name registrations will be sent out by email as described below.

7.2 Registration Renewal

All domains are renewed on an annual basis, we will send out reminder emails 60 days, 30 days, 15 days, 7 days before expiry. We will send the emails to the email address on the account, it is the registrants responsibility to make sure their contact details are up to date. FIDEL TECH LTD take no responsibility if your domain renewal fails due to your contact details being incorrect. If you do not wish to renew a domain please make sure you contact us a minimum of 14 days before your domain expires by emailing us at support@fideltech.net.

If you do not renew your domain before its expiry date it will have all services we provide suspended and you will have up to 30 days (protected period) after to renew the domain name at the original renewal fee. Please refer to renewal notice emails for renewal fees. After 30 days your domain will be suspended and will go into a 60 day grace period which you can still renew your domain name but with an additional redemption fee of ÂŁ100.00 + VAT. This must be requested by email before the 80th day after your domain has expired, after 90 days your domain will be cancelled and deleted from the register and made available for resale through a third party registrar. FIDEL TECH LTD will not guarantee the renewal of a domain name

7.3 Complaints procedure

We are committed to giving you the highest quality of service, even so, things can go wrong. When they do, we want to know so we can put them right as quickly as we can. Here are the ways you can complain to us:

By letter

What and when
Our aim is to solve any problem to your complete satisfaction, and our customer service advisers will try to do this as quickly as possible, preferably during an email exchange. If we can’t do this, we’ll agree with you what we can do.

We aim to respond to a letter within ten working days, an email within five working days. We’ll try to sort out your complaint on the spot but whatever happens, we’ll respond and try to keep you regularly updated if it’s going to take a while to check into things.

Escalation
If an advisor can’t sort out your complaint, we’ll review it and escalate the complaint to an appropriate level within the company. We settle most complaints by this stage but, if not, we’ll explain our final position.

You can ask for a manager to review your complaint at any time if our adviser hasn’t been able to help and hasn’t already offered to refer things to a manager.
